Would you let the pigeon drive the bus?

We read Mo Willem's book Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! In the book, the bus driver asks us to watch over his bus while he is gone and not to let the pigeon drive the bus. Of course, as soon as he leaves, the pigeon starts pleading with us to drive the bus. We wrote persuasive letters. Some are addressed to the bus driver and some are addressed to the pigeon. Some of us think the pigeon should be allowed to drive the bus and some of us do not think the pigeon should drive the bus. Look at our pictures and press play to hear each of us read the letter we wrote. We would love you to leave us comments.

We enjoyed looking at our pictures and listening to ourselves.

What if the bus driver let the pigeon help drive the bus? They could work together! I'm sure the bus driver would have a lot to teach the pigeon.

My nephew loves that book! Great work, everyone! Personally, I wouldn't let the pigeon drive the bus -- at least not until the pigeon went to bus driver training school! -- but that's just my opinion.
